Friends, Rabbits, and Memories
Assalamualaikum wbt,
Hi!
Friends?
I just have plenty of them, and we’re close. Maybe we don’t meet all the time, but each of them completes me in their own way.
From the outside, maybe I look like a cold, urban lady (saje tambah urban, keh3), but I’m very easygoing once you get to know me. People judge just from appearances, never bothering to explore the story behind it. I can’t really blame them — we’re all like that, including me.
We judge before we really know the story.
This year, I’ve met up with a couple of my friends. Our houses are actually quite near each other, but we rarely meet.
I’m planning to visit my teacher’s house this coming Raya Haji. It’s been a long time. He’s the one teacher I’ve truly enjoyed being myself around — the one who even sent me home when I had menstrual cramps at school (can you believe that?).
Umar introduced us to his rabbits — three cages, each with a different personality, or so he says. I liked one in particular, though I can’t remember her name. I call her Eyeliner because she has a thick black line around her eyes. So unique!
Thank God Umar didn’t reject us, even though my friend warned me he can be choosy when it comes to friends. Ayyoo~
Oh, and I must say, Kari Itik Mak Din is seriously sedap. I didn’t get a chance to have seconds… but of course, it wasn’t because I was malu.
